I have done a horrible job with this blogging business! I love other people's blog's too much to come over here and post on my own I guess.
We three have been doing great. The past 6 months have just flown by. We have spent a lot of time with family and that is always the best. We are slowly defrosting around here, this winter has been a long one. We have nothing to complain about though compared to what the East has endured.
The Girl is growing like a weed! Her legs grow by the day I swear. She had a fabulous 4th birthday party and most of her friends were able to make it so she was happy! I don't know what we'll do when she and her friends get too big for renting a moon bounce!
We attended not one but two Chinese New Year parties and they were both so very fun. We made contact with the OKC Families with Children from China group and hope to be able to attend some of their events this summer. We will go to Tulsa in July for our first ever China Camp and we are so excited.
Our third forever family day is coming up in May, I just don't understand how that much time has flown by already. I can still remember our days in China like it was yesterday. One of my prayers that began while in China was for my memories of that time to stay sharply intact for the rest of my life so I can share with The Girl someday. So far, so good. Thank you Lord.
We have dreams of returning to China one of these days. To expand our family or just for a visit? We are not sure yet. The pull to return began in my heart the day we left!

Still here!
We are still around, this summer has been busy, exhausting and fun all rolled into one! Marossie has had a blast learning new things (some good, some not so good) and meeting new friends. I will try to post later and get some pics up too! Thanks for checking in!
One overly BLESSED Momma!

Happy Birthday to Momma
Today is my birthday and my sweetest gift was the sound of my girl singing her version of Happy Birthday from around the corner because she was too embarrassed to sing it in front of me! It was so sweet.
Tonight some of my family took Marossie and I out for dinner to celebrate and I could not believe how much my picky eater actually ate! For starters she had crackers and salad (she hates veggies so this was HUGE) next was the man sized catfish fillet (which she ate ALL of) a piece of Texas toast with honey and an hour later she topped everything off with a yummy piece of chocolate birthday cake and a big chocolate covered strawberry! I could not believe it! If she keeps eating at this rate, she will actually gain some weight. At three and a half years old she just now weighs 26 pounds so some extra weight would make this momma proud!

I just love this kid!
I never knew how much I could love someone until I found myself falling head over heels in love with my daughter. (A TOTALLY different type of falling head over heel in love with my hubby as much as I do love him) Words can not begin to express how I feel about her. Seriously, I am at a loss for words trying to describe it yet my heart is just bustin' with how I feel. I have to admit, I have not always been a "kid person" but, I was fascinated by people who'd say "I'd die for him/her". I never really understood what that type of love must have felt like; now I know. I mean I really KNOW the feeling that goes with saying that and it is powerful.
I will be forever grateful to God and each and every individual who had a hand in bringing my family of three together. I wish I had a list, name by name, foreign and domestic of each person who did their part to bring us together because I would call those people and let them know just how grateful I am for their time and energy.
I mean to think that I could have missed having this spectacular child in my life brings me to tears! I thank God each and every day that he placed adoption on my heart and that my sweet hubby agreed to follow!
To hear my sweet baby say to me EVERY single night as I am tucking her in "We had a fun day" chokes me up every time. I love being a mom and all that goes with it.
